Water De Ionizer

When the mineral content of the water is removed it is known as de-mineralized or de-ionized water. A lot of dissolved salts need to be removed for which the water should be passed through Ion exchange resins columns. ( Cations and Anions). In this process the raw water is first passed through Cation resin. By this process the all the ionized salts get converted to acids. This acidic water is then passed through anion resin which absorbs the acid. Thus the output water gets de-mineralized.

These plants known as DM plants are used largely for Schools and Colleges, Hospitals, chemical industries and pharmaceutical plants.

The DM plants developed by us are small and compact, require less space and less operating costs and are highly reliable products.

Water Deionization Plants (Two Bed Units)

The water which is free from all the mineral impurities is known as de-ionized or dm water. Naturally occurring water contains salts in the dilute form known as dissolved solids. When the water is required to be free from these salts, it should be passed through Ion exchange resins column. The raw water is first passed through the ion exchange cation resins. The ions in the water will be converted to the equivalent acids. After this the acid containing water is passed through anion resins which will react with acid and neutralize it. Thus the water obtained after neutralization is de-mineralized water.

When the cations and anions resins get exhausted, they will get replenished by HCL and NaOH solutions respectively. This process is known as regeneration. The resins column can be used up to next regeneration.
